San Bernardino is a city that shares the name of its county. San Bernardino is the 18th largest city in all of California. San Bernardino is unique among Southern California cities because of its wealth of water, which is mostly contained in underground aquifers. With Route 66 running through the heart of San Bernardino, it is a historic place to visit and live. San Bernardino is home to: the original McDonalds restaurant, Cal State San Bernardino (Go Coyotes!), San Manuel Indian Casino, as well as the largest amphitheater in the United States called the Glen Helen Pavilion (now called the San Manuel Amphitheater).
The city hosts, every spring, the National Orange Festival honoring San Bernardino's role in the Southern California citrus industry.
